The product

Home bakers run their entire sales process through WhatsApp — inquiries, quotes, deposits, delivery dates — but WhatsApp has no memory. Orders get lost in scrollback, deposits go untracked, and follow-ups get forgotten. This is a Google Sheets/Excel system that replaces scattered chat threads with one working system covering the full order lifecycle.

The problem

Bakers were manually recalculating pricing per order, losing track of deposits, and forgetting follow-ups — all because the tools they already used (WhatsApp, memory) don't track anything.

Who it's for

Home-based and small-batch bakers who take orders primarily through WhatsApp/Instagram DMs and don't want, or can't justify the cost of, a full CRM or ordering platform.

What I scoped and why

01
Order lifecycle mapping

Structured the system around inquiry → quote → deposit → production → delivery → follow-up, not a generic sales tracker.

02
Quote Builder

Built a dedicated pricing tool so quotes stop being recalculated by hand for every order.

03
Mobile-first view

Added a dedicated Mobile View tab since most sellers run this business from a phone, not a laptop.

04
Scoped out payments

Left invoicing/payment processing out deliberately — bakers already had informal payment methods that worked.

12-tab system covering the full order lifecycle: Start Here, Settings, Dashboard, Mobile View, Sales Pipeline, Orders, Customers, Follow-Ups, Quote Builder, Message Library, Policies, Lists
80 ready-to-send WhatsApp message templates to cut down daily reply time
Next: a faster "quick-entry" mode for logging an order in under 15 seconds from a phone
