The product

Most budgeting tools solve one piece of the money problem — a tracker, or a debt payoff plan, or a vision board — but people rarely stick with any single tool for long, because tracking alone doesn't build the habit and motivation alone doesn't produce a plan. ClearMoney combines both in one bundle.

Personal finance reset Habit-based system Beginner-friendly

The problem

The anxiety of "not wanting to check your bank account" comes from both a missing system and a missing habit — most products only address one of the two.

Who it's for

Beginners who are serious about fixing their finances but have tried and abandoned budgeting before — people who need both a practical system and something to keep them engaged day to day.

What I scoped and why

01
Numbers + habits

Paired an 11-sheet automated financial planner with print-and-fill habit tools, since tracking failure is often a habit problem, not a calculation problem.

02
Two debt payoff paths

Built in both snowball and avalanche logic rather than picking one, since the "right" method is personal, not purely mathematical.

03
Print-and-fill by design

Chose physical, visible formats for the Vision Board and Check-In so progress stays visible day to day, not buried in a spreadsheet tab.

04
Kept separate from the Freelancer Hub

Scoped this as a personal-finance reset, distinct from the business-transaction-focused Freelancer Finance Hub.

11-sheet automated Financial Planner covering income, expenses, debt payoff, savings goals, reserve funds, bills, and cash flow
Print-ready Vision Board, Weekly Money Check-In, 30-Day Reset Challenge, and visual debt/savings thermometers
Buyer's Guide included as a required component, not an afterthought, for a beginner-friendly, no-finance-background product
Next: a lighter "starter" version of the Financial Planner for the most overwhelmed beginners
